Budlong provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and fire protection (MEP/ FA/FP) professional engineering services required to develop design documents for this fast-track supportive housing project in Los Angeles, CA. The project was designed with Crate Modular using 66 40’HC containers that housed approximately 132 beds.The County Board of Supervisors approved a $48 million plan for the 232-unit facility, according to Urbanize. The four-acre property at 1060 N. Vignes Street is north of Union Station, near the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department and Twin Towers Correctional Facility complex.
