New Transitional-Age-Youth (TAY) Facility – MLK Medical Center Campus

Budlong is proud to contribute to the advancement of mental health services with the design of a new 9,000-square-foot, two-story modular Transitional-Age-Youth (TAY) facility at the MLK Medical Center Campus in Willowbrook, CA. This project, under our on-call contract with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, is dedicated to supporting young adults in transition by providing modern, accessible, and efficient spaces for essential services.

Our scope includes MEP and fire alarm engineering design services for the scoping phase of the new facility, ensuring a seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support sustainable operations. Additionally, we are delivering full demolition package services for the removal of an existing 6,000-square-foot modular structure, making way for the new development.
