When Budlong was brought on to the project, it was already partially completed and the original design engineer was unable to complete construction. Budlong was requested to take over construction support efforts deep into construction phase, and help the district finish construction. At the 1, 109, 312 SF site, our engineers removed existing FA system and replaced with a new complete fully automatic Fire Alarm System for the entire site including interior and yard areas.
Budlong assisted with CA service for the design prepared by others and helped interpret the construction documents for the design. Budlong attended weekly meetings to assists the OAR and contractors answer questions about issues that arise and review designs. We assisted in preparing record drawings, review change order proposals and prepare the FCD’s for DSA approval.
