LAX New Terminal 9 (T-9) Criteria Documents

Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) proposed the construction of a new Terminal 9 (T9) at Los Angeles International Airport. In response, the ARUP/HOK team developed three distinct design approaches for the configuration of the new terminal. Our team was deeply involved in crafting comprehensive programming, planning design, and criteria documents for this ambitious project. We meticulously prepared a Programming & Planning report that not only outlined the design strategies but also included a comparative review of the three different design approaches. This analysis provided valuable insights into each approach’s strengths and potential impacts, ensuring that LAWA could make an informed decision on the best path forward for the new terminal. Our contributions were crucial in shaping the future of T9, reflecting our commitment to delivering thorough and insightful design solutions.
