LACMTA Multiple Emergency Generator Replacement

The project involves replacing multiple outdated emergency power generators and assessing additional units for Metro. Engineering work is in progress for replacing four generators at the Central Maintenance Facility (CMF), including new standby generators, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and compliance with relevant codes. A site visit has verified existing installations and potential equipment conflicts. Power studies and design plans are being developed, with an assessment and report being prepared for four existing generators at various sites. Final design documents will be delivered in stages with ongoing updates.
