Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center – 5,400 ton Cogeneration Plant

Our team provided engineering services for a 7-story, 320-bed medical center, a 3-story medical office building, and a 1,650-car parking structure consisting of four levels above grade and one level below grade. We designed a 5,400-ton cogeneration-based central plant, electrical system, and absorption cooling system. The project included a steam boiler plant with three (3) 200 BHP boilers for heating and hospital steam use. Additionally, a 3.5MW emergency power system was designed to serve the entire campus.
