The Roybal Federal Building is an existing highrise building. The court rooms are located in different floors. The existing court rooms have outdated technology and needed upgrades. Our team provided new audio/visual technology with supporting lighting controls to enable different scenes in the courtroom along mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
The challenges were to be able to deliver a feasible design to provide all systems while the building remains fully operational.
