B &A provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing professional engineering services for this project. The project involved the demolition of an existing 3,533 SF vacant building and the associated parking lot, and the construction of a new three- and four- story mixed use building comprised of 3,400 SF commercial, 17,000 SF of residential, and 10,000 SF of covered parking.
The project’s ground floor included parking and commercial (restaurant) space, and the second floor includes approximately 1,800 SF of commercial (office) space and 10 apartments. The third floor contains 11 apartments with five townhouses that create a small fourth story component. In total, the residential component includes 21 units (proposed average of 811 sq. ft. per unit). The unit mix consists of:
(2) one-bedroom townhomes, and
(3) two-bedroom townhomes.
