Ontario Museum of History & Art

The Ontario Museum of History & Art (OMHA) is the custodian of Ontario’s local history and serves as an educational and cultural resource for its community. The museum has piecemeal adaptations of spaces in the 1937 City Hall over the past forty years, leading to a less-than-optimal situation. Additionally, upgrades for life safety, code compliance, and curatorial standards were called for.

The MEP scope of work for Phase 1 – Part B involved the rehabilitation of the 1,200sf Southeast Gallery for the “Built on Water” exhibit. Our team completed the following tasks:
• Lighting coordination with the architect was successfully undertaken.
• The VAV HVAC system was installed in coordination with the gallery environment consultant.
