Evans Lane, San Jose MEP Design

Budlong provided Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering design for a Modular design build. The scope of work included:
  • Fifty-four (54) multi-family residential studio apartments of 240 square feet of floor area each arranged in pods of six rooms.
  • Two (2) 400 square feet studio apartments.
  • One 960 square foot building that contains three (3) offices and a computer lab.
  • One 960 square foot community room with a kitchen and six (6) washer dryer hook-ups.
  • One 2880 open floor plan that will serves as a meeting area, a classroom and library space with an ADA restroom.
Site utilities were provided in accordance with specs provided by the client. Budlong is proud to work on affordable housing communities such as this project, especially incorporating modular design building. The organization in charge of managing the location, People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), is known for providing community resources to help those struggling to make ends meet.
