Pasadena City Hall

Following the 1994 Northridge earthquake, the building underwent necessary structural upgrades, including the addition of shotcrete to existing areas. A comprehensive system analysis was conducted and assessed, with existing utilities relocated during construction to maintain full functionality of the building.Recommendations were put forth to enhance the HVAC system, introduce new solutions for better climate control and energy efficiency, and update Low Voltage and Technology systems. Throughout the upgrades, the building remained fully operational and occupied, thanks to innovative planning and phased measures that ensured business operations continued seamlessly without disruption during construction.
