Budlong provided electrical engineering design services to LAUSD’s North Valley Occupational Center. Included in the scope of work was a new voice over PA system including new hand sets as well as Wi-Fi connectivity upgrades to the classrooms and offices. A Fiber backbone system was created to fit the specifications needed for the site.
The North View Occupational Center focuses on providing educational and training services to adults. Their services include academics, Adult GE’s and diplomas, career technical education, ESL classes, and citizenship education. They provide access to WIOA – which is a federal legislation which aims to help adults acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain employment, become more involved in the educational development of their children, improve economic opportunities for families, and aid in the transition to post-secondary education and training.
