La Cañada High School have upgraded their pool to a full sized Olympic competition pool which is both outdoors and heated. It will be used for the high school’s swim team, the general public, and summer camp lessons. With its design, can accommodate diving and Water Polo comfortably. Olympic sized pools, also known as long course, are not typically common in Los Angeles, with many being extremely old and in need of repairs and updates. Included in the renovations were new locker rooms, snack bar, restrooms, and announcers booth. Mechanical equipment on deck includes a filtration system, pumps, natural gas-fired pool heaters, and chemical treatment facilities.
