Budlong is currently providing the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and fire protection (MEP/FA/FP) professional engineering services for this project in Korea Town/Los Angeles (2000 3rd Street). It is a 135-unit 100% affordable housing project with 7 stories + 1 basement level. It is measured to be +/- 83,520 SF. The project will be Type III-A (5 levels) over I-A podium (3 levels).
The typical residential floor is a double loaded corridor consisting of studios and 1 bedroom. The basement level includes the building’s amenity spaces and at the first level there is a naturally ventilated parking garage.
