Currently, the City of Baldwin Park is undertaking the City Hall Third Floor and Council Chambers Improvements Project. The main objectives include creating additional office space, upgrading technology, lighting, and security systems, as well as revamping restrooms and conference rooms. This involves redesigning the layout of the front lobby and making use of any available space. Additionally, exterior enhancements include extending office space onto exterior patios, replacing single pane windows with dual pane ones, and installing a new digital display kiosk and security camera system. CAD drawings for MEPFPLV systems are being developed due to unavailability. Lighting upgrades are required for both the Council Chambers and Third Floor, including interior stair shafts. Touchless sensor controls for faucets, soap dispensers, and toilet fixtures are also being provided.
