Online video game developer Riot Games has inked a new lease for 47k sf of space at Yahoo! Center in Santa Monica. The company, best known for its League of Legends game, has enjoyed rapid growth which has necessitated the need for additional space. When searching for their new space, the firm had to consider a number of important requirements, such as space type, term flexibility, available city government incentives and the ability of the new site to accommodate anticipated future growth. Our engineers provided mechanical and electrical engineering design services for 47,000sf office space. The project is design-bid-build and our team provided phased design, plan check and construction. This was a budget conscious project which included many changes, and a fast paced environment.
